QUAD Industries wants to inform you with the most recent update in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Let us first state that our top priority is the health of our partners, stakeholders and employees.
As of March 18th, 2020, we can confirm that our manufacturing plant in Zilina, Slovakia remains operational, with approx. 30 to 40% reduced capacity due to COVID-19 related absenteeism so far. As for our headquarters in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, we are working remotely as much as possible and / or we are taking all necessary measures to ensure employee safety.
- Daily monitoring of Governmental recommendations and actions
- Restrictions on all travel, gatherings and third-party (visitors) access to our facilities
- Continuous employee communications
- Best sanitary practice education
- Extra workspace has been created for colleagues, so they don’t have to work close together
- Remote access (teleworking) where possible for office staff
Additionally, most of our suppliers have reported they are still operational, and they have all taken preventative measures to protect their staff and minimize disruptions. Currently, we are not aware of any major disruption in our supply chain.
With regards to our deliveries, we ask our customers to inform us on how we can best assist in these challenging times. We encourage you to exercise proactivity in your forecasts and account for a certain level of unpredictability in your requested dates. We strongly suggest that you place firm orders for the items you know you will need, so that we can schedule our manufacturing capacity in the best possible way. We will work with you to get your products into your facility as fast as possible.
We continue daily monitoring of the evolution of the pandemic and its impact on our business and personal lives. We will provide updates as appropriate. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have additional questions or concerns.
